resident, The 59th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Pediatric Endocrinology Yukiyo Yamamoto, MD, PhD

It is my great honor to serve as the President of the 59th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Pediatric Endocrinology (JSPE).

The meeting will be held from November 5 (Thursday) to November 7 (Saturday), 2026, in Kitakyushu City. This is the first time the JSPE Annual Meeting will take place in Kitakyushu, and the first time in about 30 years that it returns to Kyushu. Together with colleagues from Kyushu, Okinawa, and across Japan, we are preparing a meeting rooted in the region and connected to the world.

Our theme is “Local, Global, Synergy.” Pediatric endocrinology requires both locally tailored practice and integration with global evidence. Through this meeting, we aim to share regional initiatives nationwide and internationally, fostering collaboration and creating new value through mutual learning.

We sincerely hope this meeting will provide all participants with opportunities to gain new knowledge, exchange ideas, and build networks. We look forward to welcoming you to Kitakyushu and to sharing an engaging and fruitful meeting together.
